SUZI MELLANO AN AWARD WINNING VIDEO PRODUCER BASED OUT OF LOS ANGELES. HER FOCUS IS PRIMARILY DOCUMENTARY AND LONG FORM FEATURE WORK. SHE IS A DIRECTOR, VIDEOGRAPHER AND EDITOR. HER PASSION LIES IN PEOPLE; COMMUNICATING WITH PEOPLE PERSONALLY, LEARNING ABOUT WHO THEY ARE AND HELPING THEM DISCOVER UNEXPECTED PARTS OF THEIR STORY AND SHARING IT WITH THE WORLD.
A MAJORITY OF HER WORK IS IN SPORTS, BUT SHE DABBLES IN COMMERCIAL, MUSIC, COSMETIC, PRODUCT AND LIFESTYLE CONTENT. CURRENTLY, SUZI IS CONTRACTED WITH THE NFL AND THE NWSL WHILE WORKING FULL-TIME AS THE SENIOR VIDEO PRODUCER FOR UCLA ATHLETICS.
HER WORK HAS BEEN SEEN ON NFL BRANDED PLATFORMS, ESPN, FOX SPORTS, NBC SPORTS, NWSL BRANDED PLATFORMS, ABC’S SOUL OF A NATION AND MANY MORE.

Suzi’s main focus is documentary style content. Since she creates for the social space, her storytelling is run-and-gun and made for quicker consumption. She hopes to work towards longer pieces in the very near future
This award winning documentary series “Westwood” aired over the 2021 - 2022 College Basketball season. Suzi solo-created (produced, directed, shot and edited) 11 episodes over the five months she spent alongside the UCLA Men’s Basketball team. It gave a behind-the-scene look at the program while highlighting different sides and interests of the athletes. The series aired bi-weekly as the season progressed, on PAC-12 Network, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and UCLABRUINS.COM.

A Feature Series
This series focus’s on UCLA athletes who have passions outside of their sport. From fashion design to music collections, this concept is to remind viewers these athletes are more than just what you see on the competition field. This is Suzi’s current project. Video, photo and graphics are all fully produced by Suzi.
NCAA WOMEN’S COLLEGE CUP
Suzi had the privilege of covering the UCLA Women’s Soccer team's National Championship win. The week of the College Cup and being a part of the historic comeback win for the title was a huge highlight of Suzi’s career. FEATURES
Scripted and UnscriptedSuzi had the privilege of producing this piece for, former UCLA Bruin turned Miami Heat Rookie, Jaime Jaquez Jr. In 2022 he announced he would not be declaring for the NBA Draft and would be returning to UCLA for his senior season.
